Counselling for Women
What is Counselling/Psychotherapy?
Life brings moments of immense change, challenge, and growth—and sometimes, we need support to navigate it all. Psychotherapy and counselling provide a safe, compassionate space to explore your emotions, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself.
Both approaches offer talk-based support, but they differ in depth and focus. Counselling is often short-term and helps with specific challenges like managing stress, improving relationships, or coping with anxiety. Psychotherapy takes a deeper, more exploratory approach, helping uncover patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that may be shaping your emotional well-being.
Unlike psychologists, who focus on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, psychotherapists and counsellors take a holistic, person-centred approach, focusing on your lived experience rather than labels. My work is guided by attachment theory, somatic psychotherapy, internal family systems, and expressive therapies, offering tailored support for individuals, parents, couples, and families.
Whether you’re facing a major life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, navigating relationship challenges, or simply needing a space to process and be heard, I’m here to support you.
If you're curious about how psychotherapy or counselling can help, I offer free 20-minute consultations to explore if we’re the right fit.
